OT 2023
OT 2023 is an international day that celebrates occupational therapy and its role in helping people live life to the fullest. The event was founded in 2010 and supports the profession worldwide. It's celebrated on October 27 each year. OT 2023 can be a great opportunity to connect with others around the world, spread the word about what occupational therapy is and share personal testimonies of how OT has changed lives.
In order to be considered for OT, the application process requires you to complete a minimum of 50 observation hours in a variety of settings. You can meet the minimum requirement by taking a course offered through your university or by recording hours in a setting you are currently working or volunteering in. The hours need to be recorded on OTCAS and must be complete at the time you submit your application.
The NFL made a significant change to its overtime rules in 2022, giving teams the option to possess the ball in extra time during postseason games. However, it didn't prove to be a game changer, as 20 of the 41 overtime games in the regular season and playoffs last year ended with a winner being determined on the first possession.
Applicants should be aware that admission to the MSOT program remains competitive and takes many factors into account, including GPA. Students who have taken courses that were marked Satisfactory or Pass are encouraged to identify these courses on the Departmental Application and will be reviewed to ensure that the required academic prerequisites are met.
